Shell pearl balls coated with layers of pigmented and protective lacquers, assembled on a steel wire. 
8mm wide

shell pearls are made from the inner lining of oyster shells. The substance is ground to a fine powder, shaped, dyed and coated with natural pearl nacre and then a protective coating to give it lustre.

Pretty good

However the metal "balls" are alot heavier than the chain and peal, so its often at the bottom and the chain is exposed, not looking the best
